SEASONS
Ive been through seasons of pain,
And seasons of sorrow,
Times when I couldn’t even
Look forward to tomorrow.
Seasons of struggles,
And seasons of strife,
Times that I questioned,
What is God’s plan for my life?
Seasons of fear and seasons of worry,
Times that I prayed,
God please heal me in a hurry.
Seasons of doubt,
And seasons of not caring,
Times that I knew,
I couldn’t handle all that I was bearing.
Seasons of happiness,
And joy enough to share,
With everyone I loved,
Showing them how much I cared.
Seasons filled with laughter,
And lots of fun,
Times just relaxing,
Talking to Jesus God’s Son.
Seasons filled with mercy,
And lots of God’s grace,
Times that taught me,
I needed to trust, and have faith.
There is so many seasons
That I have been through I know,
But God was always with me,
Showing me it was my time to grow.

Through The Mist ~~
Stepping through the mist of the morning,
Embracing the warmth of a brand new day...
Looking to Jesus we prayed for guidance,
Knowing in faith He would show the way.
Our gaze met the peak of His mountain,
Both ready to embark on this final climb.
Comfort and peace surrounded our souls...
Feeling His presence knowing all was fine.
Each path taken was covered in flowers,
The birds sang as we reached for the sky...
Covered by the shade of His shelter,
We journeyed on never questioning why.
Our path here is such a blessed gift,
Encompassed by our loving Lord above...
As we climb any mountain set before us,
He shall guide us in His perfect Love.
Thank you God, for mist filled mornings,
For the night time glow of Your Holy crown..
The Blessed promise of your sweet wisdom,
In our love through you togetherness was found.
Bless this union, as you already have,
Oh Lord you know what's always best..
Guide us, guard us, direct us, lead us,
Conquering each obstacle, and every test..
Thank you Jesus, for all the valleys,
Deep, wide and so often very steep..
For it's in your sweet blessing of comfort,
Serenity abides, and our souls find peace.

TIME FOR US TO RAISE OUR VOICES IN SONG

A Poem, by Joyce Gale 2008.
I see your beacon ahead of me Lord,
Take me from this abyss.
The sea is vast, and the wind is gathering
Pace and my ship is so small.
Take the helm Lord and steer I pray
As the sea has taken a hold of me, my
Life is in turmoil and I can hardly see
The way, fear grips my heart.
I am by your beacon Lord,
You have taken me from the destruction
Of rough waters to the calm of the Harbour
And anchored me to a life anew.
For you are the Master of the ship and
I am your follower to my journeys end.

Today I walked
Today I walked where Jesus walked
And saw things differ-en-tly
As each scene would unfold
I understood they could be me.
My heart moved with compassion
For the faces that I saw
As I listened to each story
I felt their every loss.
Then as I was walking
I saw a little boy
HIV positive;
His daddy unemployed.
Further down the road there was
A lovely teenage girl
Who would sell her body
Just to feel close.
The woman with the shopping cart
Her treasures piled high
Her weather burned skin
And gruffened voice
Each told me she'd survived.
The young man high on drugs
Stole all he used to be
Holding him a captive now
Yet he thinks he's free.
The solider who has just returned
From his tour in Iraq
To find the streets in the USA
The place where he was shot.
The child who's been abducted
And taken God knows where
A psychopath? A pre-DA-tor?
His mommy cries
His daddy dies
A little more each day inside.
The little girl who's daddy
Visits her at night
Covers her mouth
Then forces her
Shut up he says;
You'll be all right.
The woman who was pregnant
A supporter of pro-choice
Has now made her decision
Her baby lives no more!
The bride and groom who pledge
Each other their forever love
Leave their marriage
And their vows
Like shadows in the dust.
The child raised without a mom
Because she's gone away,
Anger and resentment
Occupy her empty space.
The drug addicted newborn
Now joins this human race
He shakes, he cries, and trembles
Just trying to survive.
The victim of a rape cries out
And tries to hide her shame
She hangs her head,
Lowers her eyes
Then cries herself to sleep.
And so my "Heavenly Father"
Least I would forget
Please remind me often
But for your grace each could be me.

" Casting all your care upon Him ; for He careth for you. "
Peter 5:7:
- God is in control of everyone , including our enemies, and when we cry
Out / call out to God He will help us, and deliver us from our enemies, in His timing.
Never give up. If God is for us who can be against us ?
God always graciously helps me when I cry out / call out to Him for help
. God IS always with us wherever we go / are.
God is our deliverer and Helper. He will always see us through no matter what.
God's grace is always enough for us.

HOW TO STAY YOUNG
1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age,
weight and height. Let the doctors worry about them.
That is why you pay 'them'
2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.
3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer,
crafts, gardening, whatever.. Never let the brain idle.
'An idle mind is the devil's workshop.'
4. Enjoy the simple things.
5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.
6. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on.
The only person, who is with us our entire life,
is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.
7. Surround yourself with what you love ,
whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music,
plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.
8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it.
If it is unstable, improve it.
If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.
9. Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall,
even to the next county; to a foreign country
but NOT to where the guilt is.
10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.
AND ALWAYS REMEMBER :
Life is not measured by the number
of breaths we take, but by the moments
that take our breath away.
Worry about nothing, pray about everything!!!
