I hope
there never comes a time when I stop learning
Or
trying to improve myself. The lessons that the
World
teaches me on a daily basis can sometimes be
Very
difficult. When I became a parent, I saw things
In
a new light. I no longer had to only consider
the
Morality
of my behavior, I had to consider how my
Children
would see and learn from my examples.
Now that I have been
reaching my golden years,
I have more
opportunity to let my examples of
How
to deal with situations be seen by little eyes
And
ears. I need to learn to watch my words . . .
Because
small ears and mouths will repeat them.
I have learned that I
need to be patient with not
Only
the great grandchildren, but with the
Adults
in my life . . .
I.e.
The
driver in front of
Me
that just is going so very slow.... I learned
that
I need to pray in front
of my family, so that they
Learn
how important God is in my daily life.
Of course, self
improvement does not happen
Automatically.
It requires constant practice and
Awareness
of my actions. I need to ask God to
Help
me grow in His Timetable . . .
Not
mine.
My personal growth is a
privilege and
Cannot
be looked on as a burden. This is where I
Need
to count on God's grace and involvement in
Even
the smallest details of my life. I need to
remember
That
each day, I must watch my attitude and
Prepare
my heart and my mind for self improvement.

on what is true and honorable
