Last month, we submitted an application to the Pepsi
Refresh Project for a
$50,000 grant, and we found out minutes ago that the
application was
accepted!!! The Pepsi Refresh Grant is a program
sponsored by Pepsi
where they hand out millions of dollars to programs that
people vote for as
good causes. Basically, it's a popularity contest. It's
very
straight-forward. Once your application is approved
(which it was today), it
will be open for voting. Voting will take place between
now and March 31st.
Whoever finishes in the top 10 of voting, receives
$50,000 - that's all there
is to it.
So, I'm asking for your help. I send an email out every
month asking you to
contribute if you can. Here is an opportunity to spend
just a few minutes of
your day each day placing a few votes, and we can
generate $50,000 for our
troops. Every penny will go toward granting wishes. Also
PLEASE send this
email and link to as many people as possible. This is so
critical for us.

The rules, tips,
instructions:
* You can vote each day - once for each email address
you have.
* You can vote each day from any of your email
addresses. The
only trick is that after you vote from one of them, you
need to go to the
bottom of the screen (on the left) and click sign out,
then click on the page
link again.
* To vote, you'll need to submit your name, email, and
birthday,
then it will ask you to assign a password. Remember your
password, because
when you go to vote again the next day, you can just
type in your email and
password.
* VERY IMPORTANT: Once you click the page link below,
you can
click vote - then you need to enter your information
(username,
password, etc). Then it will take you back to the voting
page and you
still need to click 'submit vote'.
* I set an Outlook reminder on my Outlook calendar to
remind me
to vote every day from all of my email addresses.
I know you're all very busy, but please, please help us
with this.
$50,000 is a ton of money, and every penny will go
toward granting wishes.
This would be so huge for us as a young foundation. It
would take many many
individual donations to equal $50,000.
You may be reading this right now and you may be
thinking, 'Ok, I'll just vote
first thing in the morning'. I don't want to waste today
though, because
everyone can submit votes today. Please submit votes
from your email
addresses tonight if you can.
